Be warned! The unstable nature of the energy causes randomized upgrade choices so choose carefully. Use the powerful dimensional energy from your slain enemies to continually upgrade your RiftTech. Your survival depends on becoming a force of devastating destruction, obliterating all enemies in your path. To save the planet, you must enter the rift and use your RiftTech to hold back overwhelming hordes of inter-dimensional monsters for 20 increasingly intense minutes – until your Mega Mecha can finalize its power-up cycle and stomp them all! MONSTER MAYHEMĮvery minute you survive, the monstrous hordes will increase in number. Take command of the Rift Rangers, powerful sentai tasked with protecting the Earth from evil forces – especially those with lasers and sharp claws pouring through a dimensional instability rift from The Master Brain. In term of pure Ghz, it doesn't sound too different but it is indeed faster by a lot in all other areas which leaves the first gen i7 for dust.Įventually you need to upgrade the ram, but the problem being is it worth it because it'll be a waste if you decide to upgrade everything.Obliterate enemies using your powerful RiftTech. But it might be time to upgrade everything as the latest Intel CPU's (skylake) are quite a jump from the first gen i7. I'm going to try the overclock 920 first. I myself will be trying a overclocked 920 so I'm kinda in the same boat as if I should upgrade or not. The issue will be for games that rely on a single thread (single-core), It might not be able to keep up. The CPU may or may not be good enough, For games that extensive use multi-cores, It will be able to keep up. I would consider trying your current GPU config then get the next Nvidia cards roughly in a years time. Current Nvidia won't have as many good bulit-in VR features for their GPU's. The gpu will need upgrading eventually but if it works on bare minimum I would wait for the next Nvidia chipset. Going off raw transistor counts(which is NOT a great indicator), 2x580 is just about a 970. The SLI config may just be enough for minimum graphics if they properly do SLI for VR.
